In the past, fans of Elden Ring have fought Malenia in interesting ways, but in this particular fight, one gamer uses a one-of-a-kind strategy that involves a rubber band.

During the boss fights against Malenia, a fan of Elden Ring pulls off a ridiculous trick involving rubber bands. Malenia is probably the most difficult encounter in Elden Ring, and recent data suggested that players have tried to beat her over 320 million times. Although there are many difficult bosses fights in Elden Ring, Malenia is probably the most difficult. This number is higher than any other boss in Elden Ring, and the list also includes Radagon, Radahn, Margit, and the Tree Sentinel that can be found in Limgrave.

Some players choose to limit themselves in certain ways in order to make the fight against Malenia even more challenging, despite the fact that it is already challenging. As an illustration, some players have triumphed over Malenia despite having only reached level 1 in Elden Ring, while others have accomplished this feat without ever having to roll. Now, in what is possibly the most ridiculous way that it is even possible to fight Malenia, one Elden Ring player does so by attaching a rubber band to the controller of their game system.

A player going by the name BrownVented on Reddit has uploaded a video of themselves battling Malenia. In the video, the player can be seen making an interesting adjustment to their controller in order to make the fight more challenging. BrownVented has secured the right stick of their DualSense controller by attaching a rubber band to it, as can be seen at the beginning of the video. This allows the right stick to be held firmly in the appropriate direction. Because of this, the camera is constantly rotating to the right throughout the entirety of the fight, which makes what was already a challenging battle even more difficult to navigate.

This fight is made even more challenging because, in Elden Ring and other games with a similar gameplay style, the right stick can also be used to lock on to enemies.

  • The player comes unbelievably close to defeating Malenia using this one-of-a-kind strategy, but unfortunately, they are killed right at the very end, when the boss has only a sliver of their health remaining.

  • It is possible that this is one of the most challenging ways to fight Malenia, or any boss in Elden Ring for that matter, and it will be interesting to see in the future if the player is able to prevail over her by employing this strategy.

  • The constant rotation of the camera is a source of discomfort for a number of users, as evidenced by the fact that one player claims to have quit playing the video after only 20 seconds.

  • Despite the fact that the player was unsuccessful in the battle, many other gamers have expressed their admiration for the player's dogged persistence and have offered their congratulations.

  • Because it took one user 484 attempts to beat Malenia in a standard fight, it does not appear that other fans of the Elden Ring will try out this method any time soon.
